Boomer came to us in May 2018 as a re-homing situation . But instead of a re-homing situation as it was originally supposed to be. It became a full blown rescue due to his Overall condition and lack of vetting by his previous “owners”. His skin was so irritated & raw due to a metal allergy ( because he was kept in a metal crate & had a metal choker on & and along with a poor diet . I thought he had entropin because his eyelids were folded in and irritated his eyes, but luckily ( and not for Boomer) his face was only swollen really badly due to the skin infection. And most shocking was that BOTH his ear canals were almost swollen shut due to a massive ear infection which I couldn’t believe the owners didn’t notice or didn’t want to deal with . And the biggest shocker we discovered was that Boomer hadn’t been Vetted since he was a puppy and he is currently 8 yrs old !!!!
So since he originally got along with each member of our pack we decided to host him and get him back on his feet medically. But we ended up failing as fosters and decided to keep him.

Hello, I have been in boarding since late June 2015. After my owner left the house we were renting, the roommates took care of me until they had to move. I couldn’t go along. Now I am in boarding in the Pottstown, PA area.
I lived as an only dog and was not outside much. My socialization is not the best, but with the right owner, I could be a star.
